Emy is a Latvian-developed real-time operational platform for emergency incident management. It brings incidents, resources, and response teams into one integrated system - from citizen reports and emergency calls to on-site response and data analytics
Designed to support life-saving decisions, Emy is used by emergency and public safety services to process call data quickly and accurately, automatically allocate the most suitable resources (police, fire and rescue, medical teams), track personnel status and location in real time, improve communication between dispatchers and field units, and integrate GIS maps with automated navigation.
By reducing manual processes and strengthening situational awareness, Emy helps organisations respond faster, coordinate better, and make more precise decisions: because in emergency response, every second matters.
Since 2013, Emy has been a trusted partner of Latvia’s National Emergency Medical Service, jointly developing solutions that improve incident location accuracy, reduce response time, enable electronic information transfer to teams, and enhance data exchange with hospitals and other systems.

Mārtiņš Sils
Founder and Chairman of the Board of Meditec, is a co-founder of the company and has led it for more than twenty years, during which time Meditec has become one of the leading developers of healthcare IT solutions in Latvia.
Meditec was founded in 1999, and since then the company’s mission has been clear - to make the healthcare system more efficient, modern, and secure. Mārtiņš’s daily work is dynamic, involving strategy, partnerships, development, and team leadership. He emphasizes trust in people, delegation, and collaboration with professionals in their respective fields as the foundation for sustainable growth.
His belief is simple: technology should function in a way that allows medical professionals to focus on their main task - treating patients and saving lives. If systems help reduce response times even by a few minutes, that already represents a real contribution to people’s safety.
Mārtiņš is also an enthusiast of nature and an active lifestyle - a former ornithologist, a snooker player, and the planner of the Trans Euro Trail route in Latvia. Regardless of his interests, however, his focus remains constant: developing solutions that improve healthcare and public safety in Latvia.
Māris Zvirgzdiņš
Founder of Emy and Member of the Board, is the co-creator of Emy and a board member of Meditec with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare IT development. Together with Mārtiņš Sils, he founded the company after graduating from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at the University of Latvia.
From developing state funding administration systems to building modern healthcare and emergency medical service platforms, Māris has consistently been a driving force behind technological development. In his view, the future belongs to artificial intelligence, data analytics, and solutions that operate 24/7, reducing the risk of human error and improving diagnostics.
In his free time, Māris is an orienteering enthusiast and an active nature lover who values process, analysis, and long-term thinking-qualities that also define his professional approach to technology development.
